Different ram. The picture aren’t as good but I think he might be older/bigger due to mass. 01AD133B-84EC-414F-8FC4-7E89A06E6978.jpeg49229403-9B35-445E-9E89-8AEFA8DB9937.jpeg

Some roadies seen this weekend. Bigger ram looks to be about 7 years old. I am thinking 155" or so as a guess. Slow weekend so far for rams but out looking again tomorrow.

Pics from a County in W MT (that especially pre-pneumonia) was very well known for producing numerous 180+ rams. Numbers are no where near where they were 15+ years ago, but you can readily find sheep. We get out a lot during shed season and this was the largest ram we got pics of in the different units.
What are the sheep experts field judging estimates?
I live in prime sheep country, but am a sheep virgin despite applying forever. I like this thread guys and may have to post some other pics from me and/or my oldest son.2027163C-85CB-4BA1-8E79-4B3A0CEB5983.jpeg0853F3B8-54CC-4D48-8E9E-252BC6C1BA6E.jpegA1553D70-F55B-4D72-A4F7-DE2DF07AAC0A.jpeg6B14755D-E821-4223-925F-2FDAC4839E43.jpeg5831E593-3474-459A-A706-1CA8C94FCAE5.jpeg

Any of the three, but if the same ram that middle pic is the most impressive to my eye. Wow.

160 desert bighorn. 32 “ length’s and 17” base. Note Very large hole size- you want big like a volleyball especially if it continues the circle further.

I wanted, a heavy horned, dark chocolate coat ram above all else. I spent all summer and a month in the fall looking at sheep, saw many different rams, passed up a 170 plus with a bow. I had my heart set on this one once I saw him. Large hole, great length, carried mass. Turns out below average base.

41x 14 1/2. 184+
