Brand new, unfired, only taken out of the box for the photos and to be put into the safe. Big Horn Armory Model 89 Carbine, 500 S&W Magnum "Spikedriver", 18" barrel with upgrade options including $600 for upgraded wood, $150 for scout scope rail, and $60 for fiber optic front sight. I guarantee that this rifle has never been fired. This is the third BHA 89 I've owned and it has BY FAR the nicest wood I've ever seen on one. Based on my experience you could cycle through several upgraded wood 89's and not get one as nice as this one.
If you are not familiar with this all-American-made rifle it's about as bullet-proof as they come. Made from all stainless then coated, the metal is extremely durable. The 500 S&W magnum really comes into its own when fired in a longer barrel. You can push HEAVY bullets to near 458 Winchester Magnum levels if you so desire. However, a 440 grain hard cast bullet traveling at a relatively modest 1700 fps will do most anything a person needs a stopping rifle to do.
Direct from BHA this rifle sells for $3310 with the upgraded options. I'll sell and ship it for $2800. You will not find a nicer one and certainly not at this price. Listed elsewhere so first posted "I'll take it" wins. Not really looking for anything in trade - primarily interested in a cash deal. But if you have a Wilson Combat Supergrade or a very nice 20 gauge O/U or a collector-quality Parker shotgun you want to offer me I'd certainly listen.
