big hike this coming weekend

they turned me around at about 6000 ft.lots of snow and thunder storms rolling in.i had no tag to fill and nothing to prove so i headed back to the trail head. glad you guys had a safe trip,sounds like your gear testing was a success!

12am friday the thunder started at home and continued as we were in the rig heading to the TH. i told everyone dont worry, were goin, it'll workout. once on foot we only had raingear on for maybe an hr the whole trip.

ya, except for the 2nd half of day 2 and most of day 3 where we lost the trail due to snow and were just trying to intersect junctions

yep rainier. adams is earlier in the distance with the goat rocks peaks. sl5
