WTB BEWARE SCAMMER

Guys,
Here is what occurred to me yesterday evening. I posted looking for a Swarovski ATS 65 spotter. He said he had one he would let go for $1700. I paid via PayPal Goods & Services (also noticed he just joined Rokslide in early Sept). Asked him to text me pics. He did. He then said his Paypal was "acting up" and said he was going to refund me and asked if we could use "other means of payment". Knowing I was in trouble at this point, I played along (to get my money back). He refunded then asked me to send money from a Bitcoin ATM machine.

I just looked on eBay and the exact same pics he texted me are on there from someone else selling the spotter. I sent to Admin as well.

Glad you got your $ back. Ive noticed on forums if you post a WTB, youre much more likely to deal with scammers. Ive been looking for a eberlestock pack, and Ive gotten responses on different forums that were obviously BS, and that's just a $100 pack. At this point I'm just going to wait for Eberlestock to restock the item.

This just happened on Hunt Talk forum to a few of us as well. Exact same situation with WTB ads. Luckily we stopped him but I’m curious if it’s the same group of people.
