Beware of auto-tips at restaurants, etc...

I haven't run into this tip scam at the places I eat. Higher prices yes.
I dont eat fast food very often. But I hear people complaining these days about the price of a burger and fry and drink meal. Fast food is crap and seems now over priced , but yet lines at every one I drive by.

I eat out about three meals a week. Mostly lunches. I eat at places I know and probably the same ten places. I tip better than most. Almost always get great service. I not very demanding. I’m just looking to eat.
I like to tip good but I don't go for scammers.
If the product and service start to slide. I just don't go to that place any longer.

I think you're right.

I was thinking about it more and I'm pretty sure I've been to "normal" liquor stores out west.

But the eastern places I'm remembering are kinda cool. The bartender just walks to the other side to ring you up. Lol Makes sense that they'd have a tip option, I'm sure they're using the exact same POS.

I highly doubt the the local store can manipulate their pos device, this is likely done from corporate to begin with.
