Best wrist release

Anyone used that HTM? I am currently using a handle release but seriously considered that HTM.

I have tested a bunch, but the Spot Hogg Wiseguy is my favorite. I really like having the post to hold on to, and the fold back feature, so it doesn't get in the way. I hated the way nylon strap releases flop around and bang against things or get caught on things. I really love the super crisp trigger as well.
I prefer the Wiseguy as well. Just works for me and I see no need to try anything else...

Has anyone used a carter or the hamske and the new timney hook release? I have the timney release and really like it but have not used the other two brands to compare.

I had/have the wise guy like it ok... But I'm currently using a scott silverhorn . I really like the low profile design of it and prefere the straight post trigger design (personally) . I felt the wise guy was just really clunky in use ..But thats just my opinion! good luck

I use an HTM and find it very effective. It's easy to engage your loop. The trigger actuation is crisp allowing for improved groups. The set up and learing curve is steep. I sent a few stray arrows at first. Get some coaching if available on how to actually use it. When not in use it falls away from the hand well too.

I tried several index finger releases I liked the simple Hot Shot Infinity. When I shoot a wrist strap I like to be able to set the trigger very stiff, most index fingers are hair triggers and can lead me to punching the trigger. I didn't like the the wrist strap on it because it slipped and could case me to shift my anchor point. The newer style bands seemed to have cured this. Right now I switched to the Tempest thumb trigger t-handle release.

I picked up a Carter Like Mike the other day...It's now my new favorite release!!!

Like Mikes are awesome releases I love the way they feel. Just be careful if you stalk on your hands and knees or crawl. They are allergic to dirt, dust and grit and won't fire when you really, really need them to!

Carter or spot hogg. Ive got a scott little bitty goose that i used for a long time that is decent as well.
