80 grain ELDM at $0.18 each
I’ve used the 75 ELDM out to past 1k yards in my 223 and the 80 shot just as good.

Watch for them to come back in stock as they sell a TON of those bullets. Although I haven’t bought from them since they’ve switched the website away from “22Creedmoor.com”. So I guess there’s a chance they don’t restock as often as they used to.Unfortunately the 80s are out of stock. Otherwise, I would have loaded up! That was a great deal.
I had to remove the stuff after /components/ for the link to work. I’m not familiar with that site, so thanks for the heads up.80 grain ELDM at $0.18 each

Seconds on this, I bought a bunch of their 77 grain tipped seconds when they had them and Sierra wasn’t selling the TMK. Just gotta get around to reloading them….Awhile back I bought a ton of American bullet company 75gr BTHP. I think they are factory second hornady. Around 13c/bullet. Paired that with leverevolution, starline brass, cheap primers. Shoots about 1.5” for 10 in my tikka, good enough BC to take it to 600-700 yards at sea level. My goal was cheapest decent shooting load possible.
I’d look into factory seconds as bullets are the most expensive part of the cartridge…and for a .223 especially the most expensive part per round fired.
Not sure why copy/paste yielded a weird link but it clearly did. I fixed it in the original post to just land on the components page now.I had to remove the stuff after /components/ for the link to work. I’m not familiar with that site, so thanks for the heads up.
