What has everyone had the best luck with? Most that I’ve tried so far seem to spring leaks and lose seal over time.

I’ve had the best luck with Cabelas brand bags. I make sure there is no liquid and/or seasonings on the bag where I seal. If I have any question, I double seal in a different spot.

I can’t say which ones work well but definitely avoid the Scheels branded ones. Pretty much every bag I’ve sealed has leaked with time.

I've had great luck with food saver heavy duty bags as well as their normal bags. Occasionally will pull out a package that the seal was lost. Also make sure whatever you seal is dry. Any moisture that gets pulled out during the vacuum process will compromise the heat seal.
And agree with the above, the scheels bags are junk.

I buy all my chamber sealer bags from Vacuum Sealers Unlimited. Great bags, great prices and if you look at their website a lot you can get free shipping. I buy almost all in 1000 quantities.

My sealer is getting old, but I’ve found the bags with a grid type surface on one side, are harder to seal.

I order mine from Walton's. I've only used their 5 mil bags but have always had good luck with them.

Web Restaurant Store has pretty low cost bulk qty chamber vac bags. Others on Rokslide recommended them first. I’ve been using them for awhile now.

I’ve been having issues with FoodSaver bags recently. Not sure if it’s because my sealer sucks (or doesn’t depend on how you look at it). I even double seal both ends and they still seem to leak.

I’ve always used the Foodsaver bags. As mentioned above, if you’re pulling liquid through while sealing it will compromise it

I've tried Cabelas bags. Thought they were OK. But I mostly stick with Food Saver brand and don't have enough negative experiences to change. I'm still sealing with a Food Saver vac that has to be close to 20 years old.

I get an occasional leak, but that is almost always after doing freezer rearranging and most likely due to the sides of bags getting banged around. I do some large seals of deboned meat to save till I'm ready to grind. I'll do in bags of 8-12lbs. Those don't get moved around in freezer often and they stay sealed tight.

I have been using "Out of Air" bags from Amazon for several years now. They recently changed the box and now have a built in cutter which is nice to have.
I have been using a Weston sealer.

Costco has some of their own kirkland signature ones that I started using and those are a new favorite.

I bought some from Menards a couple years ago in a pinch. Figured I could use them until I got some better quality ones ordered. They've become my go to.

I use the premade Out of Air bags from Amazon. My sealer is old and shuts down after 15-20 cycles so the premade ones work best for me. I keep thinking the sealer is going to quit on me but hasn't yet. Its an old Black and Decker that we bought at a household auction in 2015.
