I hunt a fair amount on public so I don't want to spend more than $70 per camera. I tried some of the campark cameras off of Amazon this year and already had one fail. Any suggestions?

Thank You!

I’ve tried a ton of cheapos and find the best value for image and reliability to be the primos cameras (proof gen 2 and the mugshot)... the absolute best value is the tactacam reveal cellular cam though ... hard to find, but for 99 dollars they blow my 200 dollar spypoints outta the water ... what makes them a hit IMO is it’s the only camera they make so all their R&D has gone into just it

for a cheapo camera my wildlife innovations bottom of the line cameras have been flawless. I bought 2 for less than 60 bucks a pc.

I picked up two Browning packages (Energizers and SD card included) at Tractor Supply closeout last week for $79 each

Another vote for the Brownings. Cant remember what model I bought but I picked up a couple last year and have been happy with em. Still on the original batteries and it has been pretty cold lately.

Check out Campark...just bought 4...$40...checked pics and seemingly worked great...great trigger speed and crisp pics...time will tell...

Also, picked up a couple of the $20 Wild View cameras...Campark outperformed with significantly more pics.

I bought 2 of the $40 camparks this year. One has already malfunctioned multiple times. It works when it wants to and sometimes resets everything to the factory settings and stops taking pictures for no reason. Hopefully you have better luck with than I did. It seems to work ok when it's warm out but just quits in the cold weather.....

Tasco 8mp from Walmart. $28 a piece and they will be as good as anything you will find. Buy quality sd cards and you will be well satisfied with their performance. I've got 25 of them and haven't had the first issue going on 3 years now.

Wow interesting. How is the picture quality and battery life and have you used them in really cold weather?

Sorry, I can’t recall what models I purchased but they were the lower end Browning cameras. The battery life is great also.

Also these camera have outstanding battery life. I use regular duracell alkalines and can get over 20,000 pictures on them in warmer weather. The ones I run over scrapes or trails I will use two sets of batteries in the 7-8 months they are out. I use them all the way through winter and pull them around march so they will be out in some pretty cold weather. I live in Southeast Ky so they will experience temps down in the low 20's quite a bit in the winter time.

Wow that's impressive. For that price I will likely buy 2 and see how they do for me. Do you know the model name or is it just Tasco 8MP? Thank You so much for the info!!

Yep just Tasco 8mp and I get mine from walmart or order them from walmart.com. Just make sure to get good sd cards. Class 10 Sandisk 16gb is what I use in mine.

My hunting buddies use Tasco cameras on public land. Maintenance free and doesn’t break the bank if one gets stolen.
