Want opinions on best stock for small hands as I know trigger reach is a common topic with aftermarket stocks. Putting a rifle together for my wife who has small hands. I was looking at the mesa/pure precision altitude but wanted to see what others opinions are that have handled some of these aftermarket stocks.

The best grip on the market for smaller hands is the ROKStok.

Don't get the Mesa, it's a useable stock but after using one I think the factory is honestly better. The factory compact stock with a check riser and vertical grip would be a cheap and good option to try.

Unfortunately the best stock for small framed folks and small hands (or any person really) is the Rokstok and they aren't available to order right now. I think Unknown Munitions mentioned cranking out 10 non railed Tikka stocks that go up for sale often though, not sure on the details of that.

Rokstok is around 1 1/2" or a touch longer from trigger finger position on the grip to center of trigger...

Factory stock with vertical grip is just under 2"...

Stockys VG2 is about 2 3/8"...

All 3 of these are good stocks for general ergos but if she has short hands the Rokstok is the way. My wife has shot my 22 Creedmoor and her .243 in Rokstoks this year and it's the only stock she wants to shoot.

Very solid info I appreciate the effort. That rules the stockys all the way out since I don’t want to mold something onto the stock at this point. Also can’t wait on “possibly” getting a rokstock since this is hopefully an xmas present.

Call UM tomorrow morning and ask about the non railed Tikka stocks. Cool thing about Rokstoks is they are also the only stock you can custom order a certain color or pattern for her. Make it uniquely hers if she wants 👍🏻 If they have some coming out of the molds next week I’d bet they may be able to sneak it into Cerakote and get it to you as a Christmas gift. Doesn’t hurt to ask.
