And the best stock IS…

Good point, maybe less in terms of comfort and more in terms of

im between the rokstock and peak44 bastion at the moment, I like the performance offered in the rokstock for the cost, it’s just a matter of actually getting one. Weight is a little on the heavier side but seemingly worth it. The bastion is intriguing, seems to be a top 3 for popularity and performance - recoil impulse seems nice according to shooters and is a solid 5 ounces lighter, just more expensive. Hard decision.
You’re giving up shootability both in losing weight and overall stock design by choosing Peak over Rokstok.

They have been releasing new rokstoks every other week or so I believe for folks to order non railed Tikkas (then just add whatever rail you want later if needed).

I’m not trying to bash the Peak44 as it’s a decent stock, but it’s not in the same class for a field shooting stock design.

I should have 3 to choose from in the coming weeks. Have a manners currently on an Alamo build, bought a used Rokstock and Bastion just last night. Once they all arrive I’ll set them up for pics and basic info.

How far out are they on the orders for them?
Not sure.

For the price and weight , and if you’re willing to do a little redneck GunSmiffing on the grip area, it’s hard to whoop a Stockys VG.

How far out are they on the orders for them?

For the Tikkas, when I placed my order at the end of January, they stated that it would be about 2-3 months to complete the molds and get the prototypes dialed in and then another 4-6 weeks of production time to get the initial 50 (development backers) out the door.

So, I am expecting mine at the end of June.

Haven't tried a rokstok but I really like my game Warden LR and I imagine the upgraded angles on the mountaintracker LR would be great.

I have a LRH and a Pro Hunter. I think I like the PH over the LRH for simplicity.
