You have a fresh harvest. No better victory meal than fresh fire roasted sheep.

What spices are you bringing?

I have packed a 2oz squeez bottle of bacon grease and some montreal steak seasoning on a few trips.A fresh slice of loin cooked on a flat rock, or in a pan, or over a fire is hard to beat, with just a little salt.

I always bring a ziplock bag, double bagged, with some meat church holy gospel rub for “at camp” victory meals.

One of the most memorable aspects of my dall hunt was sheep ribs done over an open fire. A couple 1 oz condiment packs of EVO and steak and chop seasoning. It was amazing.
