Yea the Hunters Specialty elk sized game bags could realistically fit an entire elk in one bag. Not an exaggeration. They are cartoonishly large. That worked out well for me when I killed a cow by myself a few weeks ago made it much easier to get quarters in bags.Came here to type this. I don't want to burden the meat processor with trying to keep up with my game bags until I return to pick up the meat. They are usually inexpensive enough to count on them being once and done.Just buy marsupials and be done with it. My game bags are probably on their 5th season. No more worrying about holes. On sale right now too

No big deal. I drop the meat off, they write it up and I'm on my way. Everything gets hung on a meat hook, kinda hard to hang backstrap, tenderloin, and trimmings on a meat hook. If it's in a game bag, easy peasy. Not gonna make a big deal out of $20 worth of game bags. Cheapest part of the hunt. Why leave the bags with the processor? The meat shouldn't need any further protection once it is in their care.
