Best replacement laces?

On my 2nd pair of lowa tibets. I love the stock laces but the tips always flake off and can rarely rethread them when i take em out to waterproof my boots.....considered heat shrink but i dont think they would re lace......Had a few replacements i didnt care for. I searched to see if i was beating a dead horse but didnt come up with much though im sure its been discussed..... any recommendations are appreciated.....

I have used 550 paracord and it has worked well. Gets a little stiff when wet/dry, but wears pretty well.

Replaced the stock laces on a number of boots over the years and the paracord has held up and outlasted the rest of the boot.

These are pretty damn bulletproof. Ive broken a few kevlar pairs over the years but haven't killed a pair of the lawson laces yet. I have them on both my wading boots and hunting boots at the moment.
