Hey, would love any suggestions on what outer layer to wear for staying quiet in rainy cold days for blacktail hunting in the pacific northwest forests here in Washington. Quiet and pretty waterproof without having to throw on a loud rain jacket.

thanks!

Pnuma 3L rain jacket is your ticket. It's the quietest I've found while still being waterproof and breathable. It has a brushed face and softer interior than any others I've tried. Streches well. Pit zips & not overly heavy. All in all a great around.

I wouldn't take it to Alaska but for most of us it's great.

I’ll second Bump’s recommendation, I’ve been happy with mine (as happy as you can be in rain gear anyways). Quiet and comfortable for sure. I haven’t gotten a lot of rain to test, but it’s held up just fine to central Oregon weather- brief heavy rain or 1/2 day showers.
