After reading all of the great info you all have given, I made the jump to paint my factory stock. Im digging it!

Cleaned with 92% isopropyl alcohol, scuffed with a green kitchen pad. Put on latex gloves, cleaned woth isopropyl x2 times. Then tapped it. Hit with isopropyl one more time, then adhesion promoter, and the base coat of textured paint. Used the plastic bag sponge method and hot with 2 coats of clear coat.

Just put it all back together this morning.

@Decker9 Great looking rifles! What kind of velocity are you getting out of each barrel?

Just started a new box of alpha for the 26” and am getting 2950 with the 26” ibi and 2880fps with the 24” benchmark. The ibi is up around 1300-1400 rounds, the benchmark only has 40 through it so far so may see 2900 with it.
