Best option for 6.5 PRC

One major strike against the Sauer is the press-fit barrel. That means the life and accuracy of the gun is directly dependent on the barrel.
The Barrel on the 100XT is threaded.

"The Sauer 100 steps away from the traditional European model in favor of the American method. Its barrel is screwed and torqued into the receiver just like we prefer."

I bought a sauer 100 in Atacama (cool looking light brown digital camo) toped with Vortex HS-LR 4-16x50 and although I've only been able to go the range twice due to other obligations, it's the best rifle I've owned. LOP is 14.25 which fits me (6'5") WAY better than any Christensen I found. I believe the trigger to be truly excellent! (Aside: I just bought a Mauser M18 for my son, and the trigger and the bolt catch on that rifle appear to be identical to my Sauer; both company names are under the Blaser Corp. umbrella, so maybe that's not unexpected.) Weighs in at 7lbs. Very happy with the Sauer 100.
