I've used some Wrangler ATGs and some Kuhl pants. Are there any other brands any of y'all use that aren't made for guys who aren't 6ft tall and 130lbs?

Eddie Bauer First Ascent pants are good lightweight pants or they have fleece lined for winter.
Yeah. The FA Guide Pros were a great pant, especially for the sale prices. Unfortunately it looks like Eddie Bauer will be going away. They’ve declared bankruptcy in the USA and Canada.

Duluth trading company
DulthFlex firehouse carpenter pants.
And the same style in the denim flex is great too

I had been using the wrangler ATG pants and they do pretty decent. But this year I switched to the Outdoor Vitals “Altura Dynamic pants”. They were design as a collaboration with Exo so I guess they are hunting pants just not main stream I suppose. They are the best pants I used for backpacking hunting by far.

^^^ this...I don't actually have these (yet) but I've had multiple pairs of OV's Satu Adventure pants (similar to the Alturas) for years and fully stand behind the quality of OV products.

I've been liking the Outdoor Vitals Altura Dynamic Pant. EXO help design them. Really comfortable. Can't speak on there durability yet though. Only been on trail hikes so far.

I like the 5.11 Stryke pants. Come in longer lengths, decent DWR on them and when they do wet out they dry fast. I hardly wear jeans anymore.

Outdoor Vitals' Altura Pant is awesome. I am also a big fan of the Prana Brion as a work/camp/hiking pant. Loads of stretch and some weather resistance. I have found the fit to kind of be "all over the place" with the Brion though. As for the design of the Brion, think similar to the Zion pant, but more for the office look with less pockets and more like a Khaki.

Eddie Bauer Guide pant is pretty good, although less stretch from my experience. Sometimes will will find some interesting pants at COSTCO as well. I think I have used Orvis, Eddie Bauer and a couple of others from there for a good price. They are cheap and work as long as the fit works for you.

Overall, my favorite "non hunting" brand is the Outdoor Vitals Altura though. So well thought out and so comfortable. But they are a lot more money.

Singi-X from Fjallraven. Built-in Belt, adjustable legs endings with hook, great/durable material with mapped breathable material. Hip vents. And a great, slimmer fit in the legs (but not skinny jeans like Kuiu Kutanas). I think this is the most versatile pant out there from a proven brand. I used to like their Keb pant the best, but these are lighter weight (and quieter) and more adjustable on the fit without losing any of the features.

The Altura pants are great all-around. Especially good for warmer weather. A little loud on the material, but the fit is adjustable and they look good.

I think the Ferrosi pants from Outdoor Research are very good hot-weather options. Surprisingly durable for how light they are.
