i'm really curious to see what ideas went into this pack. there's another pic floating around that makes it look like there's a built in grabit that hooks to the lid but could be a prototype. it also appears to have side doors like the urban zippy.

I sure hope they design it for eastern whitetail hunting where you're sitting in a treestand.

Because you don't sit in a tree stand if you are an eastern, northern or southern whitetail hunter?

Not sure about where you are, but here in MN we don't use tree stands. I climb up a tree and sit in a cradle with a Buck 110 in my hand...deer comes by, I jump on his back and go to work! Once the deed is done I use some vines to tie the legs together and throw the deer on my back and head home. No pack necessary!

I hunt all 4 corners and do the exact opposite of treestands. I dig holes, jump in and wait for the deers to walk over me, reach up with no weapon and grab their hearts. F'in treestand vaginas, needing the height and a specific pack to get it done.

I formed my limited opinion of western whitetail hunting off videos I've watched, so please forgive my ignorance. Most of those shows about hunting whitetails in the west have been spot and stalk.

I think I'll just buy the Door Gunner and modify the straps so it will fit my tactical frame and sandwich my climber in between.

Where do I get one of these tree stand vaginas, I am very interested for those long rut sits.

It’s already wrong if that’s really it. Lid on a tree stand bag needs to hinge at the front of the bag. Like a couple of the Badlands stealth series bags do. That’s what I like anyway.

I can see that being cool but I also see 6 easily accessible pouches (or maybe 5 since one side pouch would be around the tree a ways) without ever opening the lid, which is more than enough for what I would want to access in the stand.
