Hey, my favorite pant is the kuiu Tiburon because they dry so fast and are great for hot weather. Heading back to Maui to hunt next year and hunting Axis I'm crawling and tearing up my knees though.

Any recommendations on best hot weather pants to stay cool in that can use a knee pad/come with a knee pad? thanks!

Sorry, cannot offer you a recommendation for cool pants with knee protection. Double kneed fallravens with thigh zips?

You consider a stand alone knee pad? I've run the arcteryx (combat knee cap) a few years ago in a blacktaill spot I had to crawl a bit. Yes, you sweat, but they can come off when your upright.

Could give the Stone Glacier De Havilland Lite a look. I believe they are knee pad compatible and they have full zippers down the legs to dump heat. I use the heavy version of these pants and I like them.

Fjallraven Vidda Pro Ventilated or Fjallraven Keb Agile.

They both comes with provisions for knee pads and then you don’t have to use crappy bulky hunting pant brand knee pads that suck.

If you ship them to me I’ll have my wife sew in an elastic band that allows them to move more freely and makes them more secure as well. PM me anytime.

Another vote for Sitla Ascent. Bow hunted in 90 degree weather last weekend and had no issues with them. They are my early season go to pants.

The Sitka Intercept pants are good in heat and come with the knee pads. A little heavier material than the Apex pants, but still very breathable and have hip zippers to vent as well. Only thing real drawback is they only have a regular pocket design, no cargo pockets or thigh pockets

Not true. Sitka intercept pants have cargo/thigh pockets.
