I have been reloading for my 300 Win Mag for a few years now, and I have only used Hodgdon H1000, but it's out of stock and so is 4831sc. I am also planning on switching from 200 gr eldx to 200 gr accubond bullets.

Does anybody have any recommendations for what powder to use in place of a Hodgdon product?

Thanks,

I've had good results with Reloder 22 and 25 in a couple different rifles.

Just search up Nosler and hornady reloading data and pick something off the list that you can find.

I used RL-22 for years before trying H-1000, and it is good. It may not be as temp consistent as H-1000 but I never had any issues hitting where I was aiming with it.

I surely would be sticking with a stable powder like H1000, especially if you have loads for it...should work nicely with the 200’s as well. It can be found all over, especially if you’re willing to order.

I personally haven’t tried any powder for my 300RUM other than H1000. I’ve been pretty lucky to find it in stock here locally. I usually grab a little every time I’m out.
