I've posted it before, so sorry for the repeat, but Thorton is elk mecca.

My vote for best glassing area in Colorado is the Rockpile at Coors Field, I think you can see Thornton from there pretty easily.

Lol, We played a round there after our backpack hunt last year. My cousin explained the reason we only had killed one was because the rest of the elk in the damn state where in Estes Park on the golf course.
