What is everybody’s suggestion for the best factory 6.5 prc bolt action that will be used as a dedicated suppressed hunting rig? Not looking to spend custom gun prices or building my own. Budget around $2000 for bare rifle. I’ve heard mixed feelings about the Berger line.

Would expect your going to get a lot here that say Tikka,
That is what I would also suggest as after all the reading I have done here that is the conclusion I have came up with as well.

Take a peek at the Seekins havak rifles. You can order the new PH3 with all the features or buy an old model PH2 for a couple hundred less. Pick what features mean the most you because regardless rifle will shoot great.

I got a tikka 6.5prc, peak 44 stock and proof barrel for around that. Bought most of it from here on classifieds!

I got a tikka 6.5prc for $650, cut it to 18" and threaded for another $200. Shoots lights out. Might change the stock later but no real need for it.

The Sauer 100 would (is) be my choice.
The Sauer is nicer to shoot than a tikka wit cartridges with a bit of recoil due to better stock design and has a better trigger and magazine.

I used my Fierce CT carbon roque 20" suppressed since day one . 5 lb 6 oz naked, decked out SWFA 3x9 and a Harvester can around 7 lbs 8oz. or so. Shoots great and puts critters in the freezer.
