Best damn burger joint.

I had the Brazen Beer Cheese Burger at the Brazen Head Pub in West Bend, WI (my home town) the other day and it may have replaced my best burger ever title.

Since we're bringing Wisco into this, I'll throw out The Dump if anyone was ever passing through southern half of Wisconsin (Cambria)...

I can’t actually vouch for how good they are in a normal situation but after a week of getting your nuts kicked in chasing elk all over the place, the Pioneer Bar in Virginia City, Montana has a fantastic burger and beer!

But that being said the best dinner I’ve ever had in my life was a chicken bacon ranch digiornio pizza at that little bar in Alder, Montana after two weeks straight of freeze dried meals and clif bars

I haven’t had a burger thier- but a brisket sandwhich at Colt grill in cottonwood or oak creek Arizona after chasing big bugling Coconino county bulls is hard to beat!!!!

Try G's burgers in Cornville if you want to switch things up the next time you come through.

After a summer scouting trip, the burger at the little cabin rental place in Platoro was really good.

After getting our butts kicked for 9 days in the Flat Tops, Magusto's in Minturn was a welcomed stop on the way home. The Philly burger, some fries, and a cold beer hit the spot.

To me though, the ultimate after hunt meal is if you can squeeze in a visit to Sams No 5 in the Denver area for one of their huge breakfast burritos.

The Corral Bar just south of Big Sky, MT used to have excellent burgers
but I haven't been there for many years. Can't swear by it now but
it's always a treat just to sit upright at a real table and have someone
else make the food after several days in the mountains
It sold a couple of years ago (previous owner kept the grizzly skull that used to hang over the bar). Still great burgers and atmosphere.

Parkers in Drummond, MT. 135+ different burgers. Massive shakes. Small town MT hospitality. Don't judge it from outside.
Really? I always get off the interstate there on my way to dog training stuff and always wonder about the food in town.

I've heard Le Tub in Hollywood Florida has a great burger.

I had one a few weeks ago in Cascade MT.

The Roadhouse diner in Great Falls has a PBJ and bacon that's pretty good.

The skyline in Platoro! $20 for a bacon cheeseburger and fries but it sure hits the spot after a trip out

Been mentioned many times in this thread. Green chili cheeseburger at the Owl in SA NM. Had my first one in probably 1985.

50 burger in Salida. Stopped in after coming off the mountain on way back from elk hunting with my daughter this past season. Oh man! Maybe it was just the days on the mountain and maybe we really looked like we needed some food haha but that burger was soooo good and the onion rings were THE best I’ve had… makes my mouth water thinking about it. Almost don’t want to go back so I don’t get disappointed!

You are dead right on 50 Burger and the onion rings. It's the same excellent table far every time you go. I spent 5 years going there for a murder case and never skipped eating there. Now, we will drive to Salida, 2 hours plus each way, just for lunch and a break.
