Lynyrd Skynyrd in the summer of 77, AC/DC when Bon Scott was the singer and many others that were great..best one I’ve seen lately is Cody Jinks.

Most fun for me has been Gaelic Storm. Irish band I've seen probably a half dozen times. High energy, lots of fun, somehow their music makes the beer taste even better.

For the large concert experience I was very impressed with Garth Brooks during his stadium tour. His first go-round ended when I was in college and I always regretted not seeing him live. I made sure to not make the same mistake when he resurfaced.

My sister-in-law won tickets to see Bruce Springsteen and took me as her "date". Most boring concert I've ever attended. I felt bad that she felt bad. Her heart was in the right place but the performance was a bust!

In no specific order: Steel Panther, Guns N' Roses, Megadeth, Rob Zombie, Robin Trower, Amon Amarth, and Black Label Society were all very good shows. I paid a lot of money to see Metallica several years ago and was disappointed.

I'm a metalhead, but my wife talked me into seeing the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band a couple of months ago. This was/is their farewell tour. In terms of a great show, this was fantastic. Good sound, good venue and didn't drag on. Slayer's farewell show with Anthrax, Lamb of God and Napalm Death was probably the best.

Chris Stapleton was incredible!! Megadeth waaaay back on the Cryptic Writings tour when they still had Marty Friedman was stellar!! Recently is High Fade!! 3 piece Funk band from Scotland that brings the Stank Face and White Guy Overbite out in everyone!!

My favorite concert was one I saw a few days before I got married. We saw Chris Stapleton and King George in Tampa. Both singers sound just as good in person.

I've been to some wild live shows over the years, and honestly, when a band sounds just as good (or better) live as on the album, that's what sticks with me. Foo Fighters in Seattle was probably my most unforgettable concert, a tiny bit of rain, Dave Grohl being hilarious, and that electric crowd energy. Also, being right up front for Green Day at a festival once, the crowd just went insane, totally different vibe from sitting in the back. One time, managed to score last-minute tickets for Elton John after it was “sold out.” The extra money kind of hurt, but being able to just get in and experience that event was worth every cent. That front row view is something I’d chase again any day.

Best show was Parkway Drive opening for Killswitch Engage at Cain's ballroom in Tulsa back in 2008ish.

Kiss in 1987 was my go to for many years. That said we saw Maroon 5 in Vegas during their residency a couple of years ago. Paid out the ass for great tickets down front and it was a phenomenal show. Adam Devine really works the crowd well. Not really a Maroon 5 fan, but my wife is. That said I have picked up a lot of their stuff over the years and actually knew most of the songs well enough to sing along.

Trying to find Tix somewhat close for "The Warning" where they headline. That's the next one. They are supposed to be great in concert.

Notable: Saw Frank Sinatra in the round right before he died. He was struggling a bit, but it was fun to see him and to be able to say that we did.

3rd day and Mercy Me put on great shows as well. Think we have seen Mercy Me 4 or 5 times. Not really a fan of contemporary Christian Music, but they do a really good job.

We saw Elton recently and it was good, but he is getting a bit long in the tooth. Still a fun show.

Oh, forgot about Garth in the 90's in Tulsa(where he lived for many years) 5 sold out shows at our minor league baseball park. Great show!
