Good evening everyone,
I have a beretta 390 St Deluxe and plan to start waterfowl hunting this season. Mainly targeting geese I currently use a full choke for all my
Pheasant hunting. Any suggestions.

I've been a big fan of the Carlson Cremator chokes (both mid and long range) in my A300. They both pattern well, but I probably run the mid-range 90% of the time. The only time I really run the LR is for later season geese when they've been shot at for a month and a half already. I believe based on constriction the MR is a light-mod and the LR is a improved-mod.

We hunt primarily geese and cranes here and I don't know any of the guides and active hunters that don't use the PatternMaster tubes.

All of the previously mentioned chokes are good, for geese over decoys I prefer an extended tube in light modified.

Briley, Carlsons, Trulock…. They all do the job but patterning YOUR gun with the load that your going to hunt with is more important.
