My first year elk hunting. I had committed to taking the first legal elk I could on my antlerless tag. On day three a bull calf came in to 28 yards. This is my trophy photo.
1st Impressions, with the exception of my bow on his side, this was the first complete view of my last day 2017 WY archery bull. My best to date on public land. Green/gross score of 341 1/8
Washington State draw tag muzzleloader hunt. Bull was spotted in the morning going to bedding area with his cows we got out early in the afternoon and spotted them coming out setup and let them feed into us. 104yrd shot dropped him in his tracks. Photo was from the pack out that evening in a nasty spot on the pack out.
My Dad's first elk hunt, glad I could get him on a great animal! The first pic is where the bull ended up after we got him off the cliff he died on in pic 2.
