Best backpacking puffy pants for September?

Hey what do you guys recommend for packable puffy pants for throwing in my pack backpack elk hunting in september?
I saw the 3/4 Sitka kelvin lite and seemed great but now realize their discontinued..

I was going to basically ask the same thing. Day hunting or packing in?
A good set of full zip, wool long underwear like the Kuiu or SG may be a little more practical.
If you decide to truly go puffy, def go full zip. Makes getting out of them when it warms up really easy.

I can guarantee you, you 100% will not need them for that hunt.

But if you felt like you wanted something for a later/non-archery hunt; its pretty hard to beat the SG Grumman in terms of warmth: weight and simplicity.

Bringing this one back up. All of my western hunting has been in October and I’ve rarely used puffy pants. This year I’ll be in CO the 2nd week of Sept at 10k-12k looking for high country mulies. Leave the puffy pants at home?

I mean, I’d put them in the truck if you own them.
But I’d doubt you need them.

I carry my puffy pants even in the summer when scouting at high elevation. And always during September. I must hunt colder/higher country than some of you dudes. Been many a night when I’ve had to wear them and my puffy hoodie in my 30 degree bag.
