Best all around bino

I just wish they would package the Meostar quality glass in the Meopro shaped body.

Truer words were never spoken. That would be a Conquest/Razor/Monarch HG/Trinovid - beater for sure.

Looking for best all around Bino mainly for archery. Looking at the Viper 8x42 10x42 & 10x50. Thoughts..?

My take; FWIW, I've owned the Viper 8x. And I own or have owned or used just about every high end bino out there...

Don't get the Vipers. Vortex is a good company but their glass is soso. There are better options in that same price range. Compare them side by side to comparable priced Nikon, Leopold, Meopta....all 3 are better.

If you can afford it, the top glass like Swaro is a good investment.

SIZE; I have 8x,10x,15x....and think the 8x is the best all around size for versatility. Love my 10x SLC's on an above timberline deer hunt....but mostly I grab the 8x's.

Bought a pair of 10 X 42 SLC this past year. After two days I sent them back for the 8 X 42's and couldn't be happier. Work great here in the East and were more than adequate during my western deer hunt.

I've owed both 10x42 and 8x42 over the years and still some of have both. 8x's are my go to glass for midwest hunting.
