Best 10x binos for around $1,000

In the ~$1500 price range I’d recommend the Zeiss 10x40 SFL. It’s truly a great glass, compact-with exceptional handling/ergonomics, and an easy but deeply saturated view. One can usually find it on sale for around this price and if you have any military or LE connection can get discounts.

For ~$1,000 there are many great options and it really comes down to preference. A few I’d recommend:
- Zeiss Conquest HDX
- Maven B1.2, B2, or B6
- Nikon Monarch High Grade

I really like the Leica Geovid 10x42 RF binoculars I got last week.

“Keep on keepin’ on…”
I have now used these on a bunch of rifle hunts and I have to say that I like them more every time I use them. If they were any heavier, I wouldn't be very happy carrying them. If they provided any less magnification, I wouldn't bother using them. And the laser works really well in all conditions in which I have tried them (rain and shine).
