UPDATE:

Rifle had a roundtrip to bergara and back, and everything is fixed now.
New price is 1100 shipped OBO

Selling Bergara Premiere mountain in 308. Has total of 120 rounds down the barrel, I attached couple of my best groups, it's a very impressive shooter for light rifle.
It has one problem though, which I assume is not difficult to fix - it looks like lips of internal magazine are a bit too wide, it does hold shells well, but when more then one round is in the mag and I'm cycling a bolt, round pops out and jams (pics attached). Looks like 30 minutes job for a competent gunsmith. I had to reschedule hunt because of it, so I need to fund replacement till the end of January.

Have you removed the stock and checked to make sure the internal mag is aligned and seated properly? That same malfunction will happen if the mag isn’t aligned properly. Just something to look at it.

My Bergara Mountain will do the same thing if you don’t put it back together just right. Round 1 is good, but go to chamber round 2 and it wants to pop out and flip around backwards.

I just have to make sure the mag box is aligned and seated perfectly into the action and it won’t act up like that. If there’s any tilt or cant or slop or anything that’s when I get problems. I also have to load the magazine full. If I load it full, it’ll cycle and chamber all the rounds but if I just load two (and the box isn’t perfect) there’s problems.

It doesn't seem right for a new higher end rifle. Do most hinged floor plate mags have similar problems? I wonder if it's possible to convert it to a detachable mag

Yes any internal Mag rifles are susceptible to that same issue if the internal mag isn’t seated properly. It’s a common issue. Only reason I knew about it was on one of my Bergara rifles I failed to seat the internal mag back into the action properly once when I was reinstalling the stock. It gave me the exact issue you’re having. Once I seated the mag properly it was back to no hiccups. You’d have to have a new stock to go to a DBM set up.
