Anyone had any experience with the Bergara or Christensen.22lr ? They both look and read really well on their websites but don’t know anyone with true feedback. Thanks for any opinions. ( I have read number of Christensens had to be sent back for ejection issues on cabelas website )

Any reason you don't have a Tikka T1x on your list? Mine is incredibly accurate with bulk ammo and hasn't had a single malfunction. My 11 year old daughter gets bored shooting a 6" gong at 100 yards. Last time we were shooting the .22 she went 69/70 hits at 100yds. It's pretty silly shooting 10rd groups with a .22 damn near as tight as any of my centerfire rifles.

Honestly wasn’t aware Tikka was in the rimfire business, just getting interested in long range .22 thanks for your info

I just looked at the Bergera, it seems nice and more affordable than the Christensen. Both take 10/22 magazines so that’s awesome. Seems like it comes down to bolt action (Christensen) or semi auto (Bergera).

The tikka is cool but I’d much prefer something that takes a 10/22 magazine.

How’s the accuracy?

These are pretty typical 5-shot groups at 25 yds (offset from center intentional, squares are 1", shot same day) with bulk Aguila 38 gr Super Extra.

This is a different day, 5 shots, 25 yds, same ammo, the white center is 1" across

I've gotten consistent repeatable hits with it out to 500 yds on silhouette steel (it's a lot of drop, need a spotter to call impacts by seeing splash), same with 400 yds. You can hear impacts at 300 if you wear electronic ear pro and turn your volume all the way up. Suppresses really well also.

The rifle comes with a 0 MOA base, if you're going to put a distance scope on there I'd get the 40 or 60 MOA option.

Got the bergara b14r
It shoots well and handles like a sa 700. Also accepts 700sa accessories which is nice.

Take a hard look at the CZ 457's... I have the varmint precision trainer with the manners stock. Crazy accurate. Bug hole groups at 50 and can hold an inch at 100 if the wind is perfect. The stock is also similar to most hunting stocks so it works great to practice with.

BMR is now in stock at sportsmans. Just ordered one Ive been holding out. 30 MOA rail is standard and takes any rem700 trigger. Nice features for sure.
