Looking to purchase my first rifle, most likely in a 6.5 CM or 6.5 PRC mostly for deer/bear possibly Elk later..

Love the folding stock design for more portable backpacking with..

Bergara Mg Lite vs Mg Micro lite whats pro/cons? is this better quality then the sig cross?

What else would be a good choice other then these? thanks!!

I don’t have experience with the bergara mg’s. I have an sig cross in 277, and have owned a few bergara’s but lower end models.
All of these rifles have shot 1MOA or better.
I really like the folding stock for packing, although it isn’t a deal breaker. I’ve ran a 24” seekins PH2 in the mountains and have done just fine. It really is going to come down to what features you want in your rifle.
I opted the sig cross because I came across a great deal, otherwise I’d have a seekins element hunter in .308 or .277 fury for mountain hunting. I really like the quick change barrels on both the sig and seekins (I know the sig is a little more work to change the barrel).

One thing worth noting is how cold the aluminum chassis is in frigid temps. I’ll be looking for a carbon hand-guard on my sig.

Keep in mind barrel length if you want suppressed someday.
