For 2020 Bergara is adding the 6.5 PRC to the B14 line which is good news. From what I have seen those rifles in Creedmoor do has been great.I know this are now available and was curious if anyone has actually laid hands on one and hit the range?

I was at a local gun store yesterday and asked the owner the same question. He said he expects to see them in Apr-May. I also called Sportsmans Warehouse, they had no idea what I was talking about. I just bought a CA Mesa in 6.5 prc about a month ago, figured it might take too long for the Bergara guns to get to dealers for me to use one for spring bears. I'm still interested in them though, my wife might end up with one for Mothers Day!

When I ordered my B14 hunter in 7mm-08, the dealer said that Bergara builds by caliber batches. They will build more of the more common calibers, then maybe only build the 6.5 prc one or two times a year in small batches.

My LGS just listed Bergara 6.5 PRCs for sale on their website as available from the distributor.

The only new models of the Ride that I have heard of are the 6.5 and 300 PRC. I am so torn between these two...

Are they using a short-action and AICS style mags for the 6.5 PRC? I suppose that would pretty much necessitate an Accurate Mag or similar WSSM w/ front rib removed in order to accommodate 2.950" COAL.

Ah--didn't realize the Ridge line was hinged floorplate and therefore no DBM. Wonder what COAL it will accommodate.

I think a 6.5 PRC ridge dropped in a McMillan game scout or Manners eh1 would be a sick setup! Wonder what the weight would be then? Do they still come with the triggertech primary triggers in them ?

They come with a OEM only "Field" Model these days - pull weight adjustable between 2.5-5lbs.

Sorry - when you said Ridge I thought you were referring to a "Ridgeline". Bergara Premier line come with the Primary, B14 line comes with the Bergara factory trigger.

I've got a Wilderness Ridge in 7 RM on its way. Cant wait to shoot it and see how what kind of groups it puts up. I nearly bought a custom from a guy that had 1,000 rounds down the tube already and then he ghosted me so I ordered the Bergara. I am thinking it may have been a blessing in disguise. I saved over $500 by going with the Bergara and if it shoots anything like my other Bergara B14 Hunter in .270 WIN then I will have no complaints.
