I used to have a sitka belt and a core4 belt that were the same style and I really liked them. I cant find either and want to buy a new one. I've seen a similar Simms one but it doesn't sound like they don't make them anymore. When I search sitka belt I see that Skre has made a similar model. Anyone know of any kther brands? Why companies have gone away from that design?

I'd sure like to know what happened to those two belts. I literally still had the core4 on a month ago so maybe it still turns up. The sitka I havent seen in a while.

For reference to what ik talking about, here is the Skre belt. It doesnt say how wide the nylon is. I found another belt that the nylon is 1.5 inches on which seems a little narrow.

I've had the SKRE belt for 8 or 9 years and it has worked well. I measured it at slightly under inch and half wide. When i was in the military it was called a riggers belt, so might search that.

For everyday wear I've been using marsupial stretch belt, which i find super comfortable but stretches way to much under even moderate pack weights.

If you’re open to trying something new, I’ve had a ton of luck with arcade belts. They make nicer looking ones that I also wear to work. Super comfortable since they have stretch.

I’ve switched to the Marsupial belt for hunting. Super comfortable with a pack on.

Wilderness Tactical makes a few offerings with that style buckle but they are heavy gun bearing belts. I have a 5 stitch instructor belt from them and it’s been good.

I have a rigger's belt (wilderness instructor) that's pushing 20 years old now. It's been a great belt but the buckle is absurdly heavy. I've lost weight and my leather CCW belt (beltman, 15 years old) is getting replaced with a Kore. I got to church with several guys that have bought them and really like them.

I have a couple Marsupial belts that work very well, light weight, and very quick to buckle and un-buckle. Also, made in the USA and lifetime warranty.
