This last year I started wearing the First Lite suspenders, along with a gun belt with a holster. I wore that combo on a 10 day hunt in Alaska and then a week long hunt in Colorado. I couldn't believe how nice it was to wear the suspenders.

I'm 56 and have hunted my entire life. I tend to carry a lot of weight in my pockets while hunting and really never paid much attention to always having to pull up my pants. That completely went away with the suspenders.

I have to apologize to all the old guys I used to make fun of for wearing suspenders. As I continue to learn, they were a lot wiser than I thought.

OLD GUYS RULE!

I have a first lite stretchy one. It’s a nice belt, but I have noticed two things: 1) it creeps a bit, and 2) after repeated use, it seems to contract to a shorter length.

I like the kuiu one better as it stays where it’s set.

1 " webbing with one piece aluminum cinch buckle made by Patagonia. I've hunted with the same belt for over 20 years. I've tried stretchy belts and belts with two piece buckles and they don't work for me.

I just use some one-inch webbing and a plastic tension lock. Low profile and no rubbing or hot spots while backpacking.

I use a Bison rigger's belt but it sometimes contacts skin around my waist from my pack belt...being stiff and thin, it sucks sometimes.

I need to try the 1" web belt idea with a plastic clip / lock. Wondering if that would be more comfortable. It's not like it needs to be super heavy duty and it's really only there to keep my shirt tucked in and prevent my pants from sagging if they get wet and heavy. Holster mostly stays on my pack belt, though that creates a whole other issue.

KUIU belt, and the last time I checked their website still listed them as 25mm, or 1" wide. This is wrong as both of mine measure 1.5" wide. They work great!

Wilderness Outdoors Instructor belt for the last 8 years. I wear it most everyday. Rigid enough to be a good holster belt and low profile enough to wear under a pack without noticing. I don’t think this sucker will ever wear out.

Army surplus web belt. I have a few of them and they are really cheap and last a very long time.

I don't know if they would support a holster or not.

I like the Sitka nylon belt. I have the Kifaru ones as well and they are good, but I like the buckle better on the Sitka. It looks more bulky, but it is easier to cinch and holds well.
