Hello.

I never messed with fletching my own arrows, but it's something that I'd like to start playing with. What is a good arrow fletching jig?

Any other tips or equipment I should get?

Thanks!

Bitzenburger is the gold standard; runs about $100 for the jig+clamp; then Bohning makes decent ones around $40ish; there's a $70 one but at that point get the Bitzenburger, the resale if you don't keep it is identical to what you pay.

I just picked up the BPE Right Helical Arrow Fletcher off Amazon, when it arrives I can let you know how it does for a budget jig.

I use the Arizona EZ Fletch and it works great. Super easy and fast. I did a doz arrows for a buddy the other night in about an hour.

I have both the Arizona ez-fletch and the Bitzenburger - prefer the Bitz. Ez-Fletch is going to get posted in the classifieds shortly (I have a ton of stuff I've been meaning to take pictures of so I can post them for sale) if you're interested.

I started with an ez-fletch, then got a Bohning archery jig that was kinda specific to blazer vanes, does a 3 degree rh helix, then got a bitz. Pretty much only use the bitz now. Occasionally I use the original ez-fletch when doing 5" feathers. Really only thing I need is the bitz, could have saved money upfront and gotten it to start with.

I’ve only ever used a Bitz. A few more dollars, but constructed 100% out of metal and will last forever. Super easy if you don’t mind only being able to fletch 1 vane at a time. It’s a process I enjoy doing so I never minded that.
