Ok, bought the Gooloo Gp4000 and A5. Grok mentioned trying the heavy duty clamps. What say ye, Rokslide.

I sometimes need to jump dead tractors, heavier trucks, etc. I know I went with heavier duty jumper cables for just such a thing.

I would if there’s an option for them. I have a brand name pack of that size and jumping the ol JD 3020 sometimes they will blow off trying to turn that ancient diesel. Heavier duty clamps never a bad thing unless you’re working with tight spaces.

I have found if I disconnect the negative for a bit, give it a scrub or two with the terminal brightner, it helps. Especially if I haven't been diligent and needed it for a long while or just cranked it to run around.

Yeah that makes sense. But for me it goes back to why not getting the beefiest you can buy to avoid issues like that at all? Those packs have saved the day for me many a time.
