Don't know what the regs are where you will be hunting, but where I hunt most areas bulls have to have a 4" brow tine to be legal. A couple years ago we found a bull bedded in dark timber. At 312 yards it was difficult to see the brow tines with Swaro SLC's. Hunting isn't like going to Yellowstone, the animals won't be standing out in the open all day. You will most likely see them the first and last 15 min. of light, so the benefit of good glass is low light situations. So it would be beneficial to look into one of the places that rent binos for your trip.
