This happened just a few counties over from me. If you read some of comments on the news post on social media you would be disgusted! People care more about animals lives than humans! This man had kids and now they lost their father and have to see what these sick people say about his death! It's truly sickening seeing what this world has come to!

What a tragic event this was. He seems to have been a wonderful person who was well loved and led a rich and active life.

The comments are not surprising. Sad but not surprising. "Animals are people too"...or something like that according to a billboard as you head west out of Vegas on I25. Humans have truly made a wrong turn in their thinking somewhere along the way.

I was just talking to my wife about this exact scenario the other day regarding tying dogs back and animals coming out of the tree and then we read about one in the news.

Sad for the family. Right at Christmas. Jesus.

Back when we bear hunted with dogs, my dad had one fall on one of our dogs, didn't kill the dog, but he was never the same after. They didn't shoot the bear out, the limb the bear was on broke.

I've seen it far to often. It seems like some of these people care far to much for the individual animal and have little value for human life in these situations.
