Our 8yo tagged out on Bear earlier in the week! He wounded one last year but got the redemption he’s been after for a year. The youth hunting opportunity in Washington state is the best they have going!

Savage UL 6.5 prc in an XLR chassis with a Gen 1 Trijicon Tenmile on top. TiPro 4 port brake. Bear started out at 200 yards feeding in the berries and gave him a shot at 75 yards. Gun was on a UM Molinator bag up front and another bag in the rear.
He’s a small 9yo (8 at the time of kill) but the brake and the short length of pull the chassis allows makes for a comfortable shooting setup for him. On to Washington Deer in October!
