I'm looking to buy a portable battery jump pack. For general use, but I do have a HD truck. I don't want air compressor, etc accessories. Any of you guys have one / model that you like; or anything that I should look for amp etc wise?
Thanks.

I've owned at least 4 brands of these. One lives in the trunk of every vehicle my wife and I own as well as our kids' cars. Huge fan. One nice thing besides being able to self-jump is there's no more hassle arranging vehicles if you're jumping somebody else. Just hand them the pack and they can do it.

They all do the same thing. I've bought $29 versions like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CVVFH1VN, mid-range versions like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B68R2RX1, and higher end versions like https://www.amazon.com/NOCO-GBX45-UltraSafe-Powerbank-6-5-Liter/dp/B0924V8SPC/ref=sr_1_7. They've all been used at least once and all did their job. I would shoot for at least 2000A rating for an HD pickup but even the smaller ones will jump a truck at least a few times. Sometimes with the smaller packs you have to give them 5-10min to give the battery a bit of charge before trying to start the engine, which is basically the same routine as using jumper cables that are too lightweight.

AVAPOW 4000 amps for all gas or up to 10 liter diesel. Seems to work well. GooLoo are good to and have some in other vehicles.

Clore Automotive JNC 660 - was having several issues with my Truck Battery and where I hunt there is no where near by in case my truck battery failed so I got one of these. So far have not needed it yet but found the Bed Cap Company that installed my Cap ty rapped the Wiring Harness to the Bed Support causing it to cut into the wires behind the tail light but I am 30 miles away from any town as to where my property is so Can't take the CHANCE. Bought and the Cover and the Charging Cord. Take it and leave in a crate just in Case.
