Yesterday, the waterline in my refrigerator decided to have a catastrophic failure at the filter. This resulted in water pouring out of the front of my refrigerator, like a goddamn waterfall. The result of this I’ve had to pull about a quarter of my basement ceiling and we are currently in the drying out phase. Luckily they don’t think I’m going to have to pull the kitchen floor, carpet downstairs, or sheet rock off the walls.
I’m trying to decide if I want to cover it back up with sheet rock or pull the rest of the living room area down and paint it black with dryfall or some other product. I have TJI floor joists anybody who’s tackled the project like this have any trouble with painting over those or any other recommendations.
I have about 126 ft.² down currently. I would have to pull 455 ft.²
