- Gunsmith mounted this base when they replaced the trigger
To start, I was never a candidate to be a rocket surgeon and i usually don’t mess with firearms that much.
I’m trying to remove the rings and bases from this old Savage to replace with a rail.
I think this a Burris Trumount? From pictures I’ve seen online there is another screw under the ring? Any idea how to access it?
I have removed the front screw but it’s not budging.
The gun holds a lot of sentimental value so I don’t want to screw it up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
