If it’s bitch cold and you’re stationary, run down. If it’s cold and you’re stationary, then grab merino or synthetic (your choice) in the appropriate weight for you.

I do have a lot of cold weather hunting here in Michigan and Ohio but most of it is being able to come in at night and put fresh stuff on the next morning.
