Every hunting rifle I own is cerakoted & none needed rebedding or anything else including a few that are full length bedded. I've never experienced any change in accuracy either. Only recommendation is make sure you do your homework because not all certified individuals do good work. Also, if you choose to get a scope coated it will not likely be baked so less durable. I did wear a small amount of finish off on a float trip where a fishing rod guide rubbed against the barrel but otherwise it's very durable & stops the rust issues on the exterior. Keep in mind if your barrel isn't stainless then it will likely rust in high moisture areas like Alaska. Bolts are typically completely disassembled, degreased, baked & then reassembled. I've never had any issue with bolt function, head spacing or rust.
