Did Barrett ever make these? News out of 2019 SHOT was they were coming out this year but I’m not seeing one anywhere...

That’s terrible news. I was really looking forward to picking one up. Guess at this point it would be the 30-06 and replace the barrel. Thanks for the info though!

I did just that! Just got finished with the machine work. I plan to CeraKote soon. I put a Lilja #2 on it which is the EXACT same contour as the factory long action Barrett Fieldcraft barrels. Just ensure whoever does your work to take precise measurements from the factory barrel shank/contour area. From breech to the muzzle the Lilja is within .001" of the factory contour if turn down of the Lilja barrel shank is machined correctly with ZERO re-contouring of the barrel forward of the shank required.

If you are serious about doing this PM me and I can pass info to you. You will still have to rebed action/barrel but it is a very small amount no matter.
