Barnes match burners?

Having a new barrel spun up for my 6.5 creed. Have been shooting the 147 eldm but the 140 match burners are significantly cheaper and have good characteristics.

I don’t really like messing with load dev, I have a bunch of 4350 and n555. Anyone have a problem getting these to shoot well?

I've shot a fair a amount the 145mb, they seemed to like a lot of jump, believe I was back around 70k off lands. I was running em right around 2710-2730fps H4350, don't recall charge weights.

I have shot quite a few. They shot well for me. I have killed a few elk with them as well.....work great.

Just loaded up a ladder test with the 145 MB’s and some H4350. I’ll pass along the findings once I shoot it. Should get tot he range tomorrow

I've been loading the 120gr match burner for my son's 6.5CM using Accurate 2700 at a charge in the upper 1/3 of the range. It has been a good load for practice. I use the Barnes published reloading recipe.

I shoot the 140mb with h4350 and cci450 and starline SRP brass. And it's incredibly accurate. Something like 1moa for 25 rounds. The charge weight is 40gr just for practice purposes and powder conservation. I have no idea what the COL is but it's somewhere a little longer than book recommended col. Velocity is 2560ish. I haven't upped the charge to see what accuracy is like at higher velocities, but I imagine it would be about the same.or slightly larger group size.

I started at Barnes’ book max and worked back in .3 increments for 5 rounds. I think max was around 42 grains. Starline LRP brass, federal match primers, and seated to Barnes’ COL to start.

I could look later for my load data but the 140’s shoot awesome for me over Staball 6.5.
