Well, I have 500 coming. Will likely give them a try on mountain goat and perhaps bear. I have some 103 ELDXs and 108 ELDMs to play with too though. Got the barrel screwed on and rifle put together this evening.
I don't think I will even be using these for practice as my Tikka hates them. The target on the right was 24 rounds of 112 Match Burner (using H4350 and H4831sc), the target on the left was 25 rounds of 108 ELDM using H4350 (top two groups) and H4831sc (center). The 112s gave acceptable groups with a starting loads of H4831sc pushing them at 2381 fps and 2459 fps yesterday, but that's about it. The groups grew from their and had me wondering if I had a rifle/scope problem as the day before I had only loaded up the 112s and the groups opened up as I throughout the range session. The left target was shot after the right.

What twist in that barrel? The 1:7 twist in both my 6 CM barrels loves them just as much as the 108 ELD-M's.
I'd be tempted to try the 109 ELD-M's, since yours like the 108's.
It is a 1:8 twist. I think at this point I'm going to stock up on 108s and just shoot. The 109s are tempting, but G A Precision charges $65 to ship up, and I don't feel like buying in bulk before trying (at least not this soon after my last go at that).

Yeah that twist rate is pushing it to stabilize the 112's, obviously by the results you got. I would split a bulk shipment of 109's with ya, but I have around 800 112's still and they are doing good. Nice thing is that you can buy them locally at 3 Bears.

I suspect it would be pushing it on the 109s as well. 112 MB's are 1.331 and the 109 ELDM's are 1.317. Of course the plastic tip helps on the 109's.

I figure supply/availability of the 108's will also be an advantage.

112 match burners out of my 6 PRC have been shooting great and don’t seem to be jump sensitive. I’ve finalized my load and will be checking them at distance next and piling up animals this fall.

I logged into my bdx app just to see what my elevation was because that sounded low to me. Guess you're around a 3500 elevation and that's the difference.

Either way, glad to hear you're having good luck at distance. What kind of jump are you loading them with? I've seen anything from 100thou to 30. I loaded up a powder charge test and some others to test seating depth between those ranges. Just curious.

I segmented my BC at 2200 1800 1500 and 1200 fps to try and true better to 1500yds;
My notes show them 0.5 mil higher than 115dtacs (@3015) at 1100y.

I just load to 2.82" oal and go. Been really good so far. No idea what the jump is though

Well luck enough I have 500 115 Dtacs coming today and have already loaded 100 of the 112s for the same test. Looking at the latest book by Brian Litz, the average BC on the 115 Dtac is higher so I'm interested to see if I get the same results. I won't be pushing them as hard though.

Thanks for the info.
