Snooping around on accurate shooter and snipers hide saw a few reviews

Anyone use this bullet? I'd assume that bullet BC is inflated but even at .285g7 ++ it'd be a good upper end plinker.

Old thread, bumping it up because these looks good. Have heard MT can be a little aggressive on expansion

Anyone use these on game? Using custom BC in AB these outperform everything but DTAC 115s, which they tie, for BC.

I have really been interested in the 112 MB's as well. They are great on paper. I might just bite the bullet and use them on my elk hunt this year.

What does AB have for a BC?
The Custom gives no BC (well everything is a 1.000). It is what AB measured and I trust it more than the manufacturer. So I was plugging in the same MV and seeing drop and drift at 1000 yards in standard atmospheric conditions and 10 mph wind to get an idea of how they compare.

From a 20” 1:7 twist, they confirm out at .286 G7
Here are the comparisons. All were using an MV of 2800. You will have to decipher. Drop and drift are in mils. Based on drop and drift, ABs custom is closer to the 0.308 than it is to 0.286.

Copy. Mine is a sample of one, using a Revic BR4. It’s spot on out to 1,000 or so, though past that, it seems the B.C. Is a bit higher. Their starting velocity could be higher with a longer barrel as well. I’m at 2940 fps.

I've been shooting the factory loaded Barnes ammo out of a CZ 600 Range 1:7.
Not particularly accurate out of this barrel.
As much as I dislike Hornady, it prefers their 108 ELDM.

I bet, at least in your rifle, yours is correct and AB is wrong. I'm not smart enough to know how a gun might influence the BC.

I’m no expert either, but what I understand is that twist rate and velocity influence the B.C., as well as the B.C. changing at different velocity spreads. Hornady will list 3 different B.C.’s for the same projectile at different speeds.

Well, I have 500 coming. Will likely give them a try on mountain goat and perhaps bear. I have some 103 ELDXs and 108 ELDMs to play with too though. Got the barrel screwed on and rifle put together this evening.
